Bank Square Books

Bank Square Books is a cornerstone of the Mystic community. The shop has expanded throughout the years and now occupies two storefronts on Main Street, easily identifiable by the iconic whale painted by Pamela Zagarenski outside the front door. Owner Annie Philbrick worked with the State throughout the pandemic between loan applications and the like in order to stay afloat and keep independent book publishers afloat.
